Jesuit Educational Association of South Asia (JEASA) was constituted in 1961 by the Jesuit Conference of South Asia (JCSA) with the aim of providing Jesuits with a forum of reflection on the educational apostolate of the Society in the context of changing conditions in the region. All Jesuit educational institutions in South Asia are members of the JEASA. JEASA was established to provide strategic oversight and governance of the educational ministry of JCSA. The most important aspect of its responsibility is the implementation of and ongoing adherence to the governing policies and procedures of the Provinces/Regions under the Conference relating to the operations of the schools in South Asia.
