Curiosity Meets Creation—Loyola's STEM Spectacle 2025

Showcasing creativity, innovation and exciting conglomeration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics under one roof, the much-awaited STEM exhibition 2025 was held at the Knowledge Centre, Loyola. Fr. Michael Thanaraj S.J., Rector, Loyola School, graciously cut the ribbon and declared the exhibition open.

The venue was grandly decorated, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. Colourful posters highlighting various themes of the exhibition adorned the walls, capturing the creativity and enthusiasm of the students. A thematic rangoli along with eco-friendly decorations with earthen pots added colour and charm to the Knowledge Centre, thereby symbolising tradition and sustainability, thus setting a perfect tone for the grand event.

Students from various grades showcased an impressive range of captivating models and experiments themed on intricate robotic mechanism, fascinating demonstrations  in astronomy, hydraulic machines, electrostatics, synapse smart traffic light system, self-sustainable man-made ecosystem, transmission of nerve impulse, biogas plant, environmental  awareness through the Kodaikanal mercury tragedy, nuclear agriculture, critical mathematical theorems, and many more, thus reflecting upon their deep curiosity, understanding of scientific concepts, problem-solving spirit along with thought-provoking explanations and finally the application of classroom knowledge to practical real world situations.

Fr. Rector warmly appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers for their dedication and teamwork. He lauded the initiative for encouraging scientific temper and hard work that went into each exhibit, acknowledging the pains that students took to bring their ideas to life and congratulated them for their collective success in organising such an inspiring and educational event.

The over-whelming response and appreciation from teachers, parents and guests made the exhibition a grand success. The event concluded on a high note, thus reinforcing the school's  commitment to nurturing creative exploration, innovation and excellence in STEM education. It was  truly a testament to the creativity and dedication of the young Loyoleans.
