The Inter-House Quiz for Classes V to XII was held on 27th July 2026 on the theme “India Through the Ages.” The quiz featured engaging rounds covering English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Entertainment, General Knowledge and Rapid Fire. Students enthusiastically participated, enjoyed the competition and showcased their knowledge and teamwork.

Football Fiesta 2026 was held on 1st August 2026 at St. Mary’s School ICSE & International School. The event celebrated teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship and community spirit. Students participated with great enthusiasm, even amidst torrential rain. The wholehearted support of parents, coaches, teachers and the Sports Department made the event a memorable celebration, fostering confidence, perseverance and togetherness.

The Hindi Elocution Competition was held on 4th August 2026 for students of Grades V to XII. Students eloquently recited poems highlighting various social issues. The participants displayed confidence, expression and strong oratory skills, making the competition an engaging and enriching experience for everyone.

The school celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour on the theme “We, the Future of India.” The programme featured the Guard of Honour, flag hoisting, pledges, patriotic songs, speeches, poems and dances. Chief Guest Mr. Yaduraj Singh, IRS, Additional Director of Investigation, Income Tax Department, Mumbai, inspired students to embrace responsibility and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s future.

The Inter-House Dramatics Competition 2026 was held on 21st August with great enthusiasm. The four houses presented classics with creative twists: White – The Monkey’s Paw, Red – The Proposal, Green – The Dear Departed and Blue – Sorry, Wrong Number! The event showcased the students’ creativity, confidence and acting skills.

Students from Grades 8 to 11 participated enthusiastically in GB9MUN, hosted by Gopi Birla Memorial School and Cathedral MUN hosted by The Cathedral and John Connon School. At GB9MUN, four students received committee awards, including Best Delegate, High Commendation and Special Mention, while all ten delegates received Certificates of Participation. Though no awards were received at Cathedral MUN, the students gained valuable experiences. The conferences provided enriching exposure to global issues, diplomacy, research, public speaking, critical thinking and negotiation.

The Jesuit Educational Institutions meeting was held on Saturday, 22nd August 2026, with 72 members representing 34 Jesuit educational institutions from the Bombay Province and two schools from the Pune Province. Advocate Arvind Kothari conducted an insightful workshop on the rights of minority institutions and recent educational developments, focusing on constitutional protections, administrative autonomy and regulatory frameworks.
