International Yogasana Championship: Master Shaurya Kumar Wins Three Golds

Master Shaurya Kumar, Class VII student of  St. Aloysius Gonzaga School, Mangalore, Karnataka, earned International acclaim by winning three Gold Medals and the second Runner Up Trophy at the First International Yogasana Sports Championship 2026 held at Hongkong, 9 to 10 May 2026. 

Son of Mr. Ajay Kumar and Mrs. Ragini, Shaurya Kumar represented Team India through Indian Yogasana Sports Federation (recognised by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India).Shaurya Kumar competed in the 10–14 years' age category and showcased extraordinary Yogasana with great skills and precision to secure Gold Medals in the Traditional Championship, Own Choice Championship, and Artistic Solo Championship.

Shaurya Kumar also clinched the second runner up trophy in Champion of Champions (Below 28). His victories helped Team India secure the overall No. 1 position at this International event. This achievement is result of years of  exceptional hard work, dedication, discipline and passion of Shaurya Kumar. He has consistently excelled at the district, state and national levels and has regularly showcased his exceptional talent in the field of Yogasana.
